PENCIL PROJECT

The pencil project is an ongoing research/art project which explores chronic pain and management thereof alongside self care messaging in the construction workplace.  It is my experience that construction and related trades are an area where pain, vulnerability, and creating space for self care is often looked at as unmanly and derided.  The aim of this project is to find useful messaging and a way to disseminate it in these venues in a way that it may effectively be received by the target audience.
